Color Symphony

Watercolor is the perfect medium for capturing a certain tone or mood. It is playful, spontaneous and very dynamic. In this series, I explore painting with layers of colorful washes and drops of different pigments. I experiment with the looseness and rigidness of composition through detail, light and shadows, texture and value. Watercolor is a demanding but also an intuitive medium. It serves as the perfect means for portraying specific moods in my subjects as well as my own state of mind.
